Thank you for taking the time to view the gallery. I hope this paints a better picture of what kind of teacher I am inside and outside the classroom.

Technology Leadership During a Pandemic, COVID-19, Ibrahim Qureshi Athletic Director, Technolgoy Leader and Teacher

Technology Leadership, COVID-19

When the entire world shifted to online teaching, as a teacher in Alberta, Canada, I was placed in a position of leadership in helping assist our school's transition into online learning. Click on the image to see the social media post regarding the acknowledgement and support for my efforts in online learning. I also created a free Physical Education website called www.freephysed.com. This was shared with schools in the province of Alberta and Canada. The Canadian Journal of Principals and two professors used it in discussing technology innovation and leadership during the pandemic. Article link here.

An Interview a North Point parent with Our Kids About & Mr. Qureshi's Impact

An interview from the popular online school reviewer in Canada called Our Kids with a parent of one of my students that left me speechless. Listen to this interview where parent Sarah Pittard took the time to discuss how physical education, the intramural program, sports, and my influence as a teacher shaped her child's development and growth at North Point last year. Thank you for your kind words and acknowledgement Sarah! One of the many reasons I love teaching and doing what I do for athletics.

This is just a snippet of conversations around my impact as a physical education teacher and Athletic Director at North Point School for Boys by Geoff Davies from Our Kids and parent Sarah Pittard www.ourkids.net. For the full interview please click here. This is from June, 2020.

Building a Basketball Program & League From the Ground Up

After co-creating a basketball league with a fellow educator back in 2019, I never expected us to grow in such a short period. We have had two articles published in a magazine. The most recent one is about a kids' tournament during the pandemic, and the other was about our origin and why we created this program and league.
